What is PlasPlot?

PlasPlot is a program used to monitor the status of a nonlinear analysis run in FE/Pipe. Elastic and plastic strains are reported as the solution proceeds towards convergence.

Upgraded Features in PlasPlot 2.0

  • Upgraded charts
  • Added "Converged Results" output to supplement the version 1 output (previously called "Solution Monitor"). Version 1.0 does not separate the converged load setp from all the iterations.
  • Fixed a defect in version 1.0 "write to text file" where the source data file was overwritten when the operation selected.
  • Added clipboard feature for reports. Users will be able to copy results in table format directly to Microsoft® Excel® or Microsoft® Word® without using a file interface.
  • Added load multiplier to all text and clipboard reports.

The "Edit Plot" button exposes a variety of format options, including: Edit line color, line type, add/remove grids, edit plot titles and easier zoom controls.

Solution tracking results can be plotted to identify convergence trends during solution. Converged solution plots illustrate the converged results after solution completion.
